I really enjoy it when a client sends me a photo of my work hanging in their home—especially a home in which I have very fond memories.
This is the home of my good friends Mike and Xukiet in Vientiane, Laos. When I’m in Vientiane, I often stay there. Their place is also a popular AirBnB spot, so there is invariably an interesting crowd.
Mike had a close relationship with Fred Branfman, of whom the photograph is named.
