Although it has little to do with his tome, I just thought it an apt name for this photo—a 1500-2000 year old funerary jar on the Plain of Jars in Laos, and a spider that had spun his web within. I was there the day before, the web was not in existence, I was there the day after, and it had ceased to exist.
