Sign Up for My RSS Feed!

Want my exciting images delivered right to your inbox? Deep philosophical insights?? Sign up for my RSS feed! Don’t know what that is? Basically, it is a method in which you can subscribe to a blog and have the posts delivered to an RSS reader–or, directly into the inbox of your email program. Why would you want to do this? Here is Google’s description:

Technology evolution in online publishing has made it really easy to not only publish regular updates to web-based content, but also keep track of a large number of your favorite websites or blogs, without having to remember to check each site manually or clutter your email inbox. You can now streamline your online experience by subscribing to specific content feeds and aggregating this information in one place to be read when you’re ready.

See that icon to the right that looks like this:

Click on that icon, and you will be directed to FeedBurner, Google’s RSS feed manager. You can subscribe through the sites listed, or you can download a dedicated “RSS Reader” for that purpose. Here is a list of Mac readers:

Windows:

And for my sister Lisa with her new wazzu Android phone:

Or, of course, if you already have a Google account, you can just use Google’s clean, utilitarian reader:

I’m on a Mac, so I just subscribe to the blogs I regularly read through my email program, aptly named Mail.app (posts from the blogs I follow just land in my inbox).

My feed address is as follows:

Let me know if you have any trouble getting subscribed!
